What is Low Testosterone (Hypogonadism)
Testosterone is a male hormone produced by the reproductive glands called the testicles. Low testosterone, also known as hypogonadism, is a condition where the testicles do not produce enough testosterone. The most common reason for low testosterone (hypogonadism) is age. Testosterone slowly declines after the age of 30.
